We went to the state fair a few weekends ago. It was soooo hot! Kaden still had fun of course! We went to the fair on Friday and stayed at mom and dad's trailer at the lake, so we could go do lake stuff on Saturday. We played games at the strip and then went out on Dad's boat to fish. We had a good mini-vacation!

    Kaden is playing soccer. I really don't know how much he likes it, but he says he does. He likes to swing his arms alot.Kaden is number 11. Russ is helping coach. His games are on Mondays at 6:15 if anyone wants to attend. He is starting t-ball after soccer is over, so I guess our summer is going to be full, before it even starts!

As most of you know, Kaden had his tonsils and adenoids taken out and tubes put in his ears Friday. He is doing a little better today, he ate some jello last night and has drank a little juice today.     We had Kaden's party on Jan. 30th, 2009 at Northside Baptist Church. A lot of people could not make it due to the snow we got the night before, but we still had a good time. Kaden wanted a dog party, so the kids got to eat from dog bowls and make dogtags. They hit a pinata at the end. We had a good time. Can't believe he is 4 already!!

Tonight we went downtown where they had Santa arriving on the firetruck to light the tree at Lonestar Plaza. Before Santa arrived, we got to ride in horse drawn wagons sponsored by the FFA. Kaden got a new pony today!! He is so excited and so are we! He looks like the perfect size and has shown no signs of being aggressive. I can just see him riding this pony with his legs wrapped under it's belly and his arms around it's neck. We are calling it "Jaqs" tonight, who knows what tomorrow will bring though. We went to the Zoo Friday and Kaden had a blast. The last time he was at a zoo, was when we went to Denver. He told most of the animals that he loved them. We took a video of him talking to the monkeys. The monkeys were really sweet and liked Kaden. He had a big day.

   Kaden has a new desk. It is not exactly new, but new to him. He calls it his 'treasure'. We got it at the flea market and he loves it. We really like it too. He puts all his colors and coloring books in it along with his puzzles, so that keeps that stuff off my floor!

    Kaden went to the Licking Rodeo with Roy and Reta and he wanted to wear a "Cowboy Shirt". So we got out his cowboy shirt and cowboy hat and he was an official Cowboy!     Trey Miller, Kaden's friend had his 4th B-Day party Sunday at the park (the best place on earth for parties). He had a Monster Truck theme and the boys had a lot of fun.  Kaden went to the Bicycle Rodeo at Walmart this past Saturday. He received a free helmet, got his bike worked on and got to ride through a course. As you can tell from the photos, he really enjoyed himself.

 This is Kaden painting the eggs. I highly recommend this form of coloring the eggs. It was much less mess, more fun for him, and on Easter when it rained, the color didn't rub off on his hands like the egg dye did.

 Kaden has come to love picnics on the back porch. He plays in his sandbox all morning, then wants to picnic on the deck. Yes he is in a rocking chair with no pants on......or underwear! Yesterday Russ and I took Kaden to the Gist Ranch near Summersville. It is ran by the Conservation dept. and is really nice. This was the first time Kaden has shot a gun. He shot a .22 and LOVED it! He was not scared at all! We had to bring home his target and it is now hanging up on the wall of his room. He is very proud.
