Black Friday

Kaden and I raked leaves this morning. He had a blast! He buried himself, dove into them, and threw a bunch in the air. He is really good help and has his own rake. Did anyone else brave Black Friday??? I went to Walmart at 4:30 am this morning and it was utter craziness!!! I thought by being there before 5:00, when the sale started that I was doing good. Little did I know there were people there waiting all night, in Houston, Mo!! My Mom was one of the die hard shoppers, she took my Dad and got to Walmart at 2:30 am--NUTS, but the good news is she scouted out where the GPS units were and picked me one up, since I am not so dedicated.

Russell got our Christmas lights up on the house, it is so pretty. Kaden has always loved the lights and so do we. Kaden has informed me for 3 days straight that he wants Christmas now. I have tried explaining......to an almost three year old, explaining is pretty much useless.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday, I am almost tempted to shop for the rest online!

Early Thanksgiving @ G-pa & G-ma's

This has got to be Josh's kid....Kaden loved the back massager. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner at G-pa Bud and G-ma Betty's house Sunday. They cooked for 2 days before and we had enough food left over to feed 10 other families. Angie and her gang were up from Texas for the weekend for some deer hunting. We all had a lot of fun and ate too much as usual. Hope everyone has a good week!

Working Cows in the Cold!

Saturday Russell , Roy, Kaden and I worked cows. It was very cold. Kaden made it until his cowboy stick hit him in the eye, so we retired to where it was much warmer. The cows listen to Kaden very well.....something about a two foot tall boy with a hard stick seems to make the cows move. I think they think he is a really mean dog. Whatever, he is a good helper and has a lot of fun too.

Pumpkin Carving 2008

Russell and Kaden had so much fun carving pumpkins. Kaden did not like the insides of the pumpkin, he even gagged! He is for sure Russell's kid. Kaden informed us that the orange hat he is wearing was his trick-or-treat hat....he is so funny.

A New Start.....

Hey everyone.... I am starting a blog to stay in touch and display lots of pictures. That being said, Halloween was last night and Kaden had a lot of fun. We took him around a few places before I had to go to work, then Russ and his parents took Kaden to the Hospital to see me and my co-workers, some more friends and the Christian Church for Trunk or Treat. They had pumpkin painting, CANDY, and games. He had a lot of fun. It was one sugar filled day that started at daycare with candy, a hayride, and pumpkin decorations. We are so proud of our little rooster and that he had a great time. We are enjoying the candy too... I'll post pics later.. Bye now.
