Mo State Fair 2010

We went to the state fair a few weekends ago. It was soooo hot! Kaden still had fun of course! We went to the fair on Friday and stayed at mom and dad's trailer at the lake, so we could go do lake stuff on Saturday. We played games at the strip and then went out on Dad's boat to fish. We had a good mini-vacation!

 

 

 

 

T-Ball

Kaden is loving t-ball. He did really good last night. Of course he says that we win every game.....even though no score is kept!

Kaden's first Soccer Game

 

 

 

 

Kaden is playing soccer. I really don't know how much he likes it, but he says he does. He likes to swing his arms alot.Kaden is number 11. Russ is helping coach. His games are on Mondays at 6:15 if anyone wants to attend. He is starting t-ball after soccer is over, so I guess our summer is going to be full, before it even starts!

This is what I cooked the boys this morning. Green eggs, shamrock biscuits, bacon and and pork loin sausage. Kaden loved the eggs and biscuits. Happy St. Pat's Day everyone!

Kaden's 4th B-day pictures

Here is a little preview of Kaden's 4th b-day pics. We woke up this morning and Kaden was in a good mood, so we moved the furniture out of the way, and took some pics. I have been meaning to take him to someone and get his pics made but with the surgery and our schedule being crazy lately, it hasn't happened yet. So before he turns 5, maybe we will get some real ones taken, but till then, these will have to do. Hope you like them.

On a side note, Kaden has been feeling much better. He is talking a lot more and running around like a wild man. He isn't whining near as much now (thank goodness)!

 

 

 

 

Kaden

As most of you know, Kaden had his tonsils and adenoids taken out and tubes put in his ears Friday. He is doing a little better today, he ate some jello last night and has drank a little juice today. Yesterday was pretty painful for him and it was really hard to get his medicine in him. We had to resort to suppositories one time. He is taking his meds today. he is having a lot of ear pain, not from the tubes but from the referred pain of his tonsilectomy. The Dr. said it exposed nerve ending and the pain is felt in the ears. I really wish I could make it better, but is really the only thing that will help. He still won't talk except a few words a day, so it has been unusually quiet around here. Thanks to everyone for the calls and prayers! The new puppy seems to help him, they cuddle together and watch movies. He has a deer hunting game that hooks to the TV and he has been killing a lot of deer! I will be home with him until Thursday and after that I am not sure what our schedule will be like. Come over and see him, he likes the company and attention he is getting!!

We had Kaden's party on Jan. 30th, 2009 at Northside Baptist Church. A lot of people could not make it due to the snow we got the night before, but we still had a good time. Kaden wanted a dog party, so the kids got to eat from dog bowls and make dogtags. They hit a pinata at the end. We had a good time. Can't believe he is 4 already!!

Just a quickie..

Sorry I have been off of here so long. I also have another blog going too.
Kaden seen Dr. Krenning today and she is going to remove his tonsils and adenoids and put tubes in his ears again, for the third time. Poor guy, he hasn't been hearing well this week, she said he has what they call ' Glue ears'. Not infected yet, but gooey inside the ear. Pray they do not become infected again before surgery. The surgery should be on Feb. 12th in Rolla. Please pray for him to handle this with ease and not have a lot of pain. I am really nervous about this after what happened with my tonsils. They say it is much easier on kids than adults, so I hope this is true. Till next time.....
Also, I hope everyone can make it to Kaden's b-day party on Saturday at 11:00. I hope the snow isn't too deep for all of us to make it! LOL!
Speaking of b-days, I found this pic of Kaden on his 2nd b-day. Can you believe he was only two in this pic. He will be 4 Sunday! Time has flown by and I'm not sure I want to let him turn 4 just yet...like I have a choice! Bye all!
